A hard working plumber I can recommend. Our mains line sprung an underground leak near the meter and we had to turn off the mains and were without water. I rang Tap Doctor but was on hold – “your call is important to us” etc like ringing the tax office. When eventually someone spoke to me they were more interested in getting chummy – first name etc.  than listening to my problem. – Yuk! Then I picked a small ad with a mobile number only but at 3.30 pm he could not attend same day and had a 7.30 booking already and could only come next day at pm. I asked if he could do ours at 7.30 and the other one at pm. He promised he will try and persuaded the other client to swap slots and he promptly turned up at 7.30 am and after an hour of hard and difficult work in this small excavation all pipes were fixed and we had water again. The charge was very reasonable and I am highly satisfied.
